{New Find} The Mother’s List

Since most of my readers are women, many of whom are moms, I really wanted to share a new site I recently discovered: The Mother’s List. Heard of it? Well, neither had I. We are all pretty aware of Craigslist, but this site puts a personal {and womanly} touch to the act of buying and selling from listing sites. Hope it helps one of my fabulous readers purge {or find} items!

Oh, and they are also currently running a contest for a Wii and Wii Fit bundle- just a little bonus, right?!

Modern Holiday Party Invites

I recently received a sample pack of holiday party invites from Minted.com and was simply floored! Honestly, I have seen many invitations and holiday cards over the years, so I wasn’t expecting such fresh and modern designs. Not only were they fabulous to look at… but I found myself holding, flipping, and feeling these cards…thinking “Wow! These are so nice!”

Not only do they have a really modern selection of holiday photo cards, but I love their holiday party invitations. You could plan an entire holiday party theme around one of these invites. Here are a few of my favorites:

Aren’t these holiday invitations just screaming for their own party theme? Don’t be surprised if I create one for each… yes, I love these that much.

If you haven’t before, be sure to check out Minted.com. You will not be sorry!

Today, October 19th, Linda & Harriett are so thoughtful they are holding a really great event today: Cards for Just Because. In honor of her mother (who sounds like one generous and thoughtful woman), they are encourageing everyone to send a card… just because.

In the honor, and on her birthday, they are giving away note cards in exchange for a promise to send it card to someone – just because. Simply email lindaandharriett@gmail.com with your name & snail mail address, and they’ll send you a note card & envelope. That’s it, so simple!

Read more about this thoughtful day over on their blog.

Paper Doll Note Cards | Linda and Harriett

I absolutely adore stationery so when I got the chance to review a new design from Linda & Harriett, I was thrilled! They kindly sent me a box of their newest note card design: Paper Doll Note Cards. A gorgeous card box arrived, filled with 6 fold over note cards & envelopes. Each note card letter pressed with a yellow & charcoal paper doll pattern that is just adorable! Accompanied with light gray envelopes, these note cards have such a whimsical yet modern feel- I am loving them!

Adorable, right?

I think these note cards are perfect for all ages. I can see my daughters using them to send notes to Grandma, and also myself using them to send out thank you cards or a simple hello note to a friend.

You can get your own box from Linda & Harriett: Paper Doll Note Cards $14.00

P.S. Linda & Harriett are so thoughtful they are holding a really great event today: Cards for Just Because. read more about it here, you’ll be glad you did.
