If you’re looking for a new summer-go-to drink recipe, frozen drinks are the perfect choice! This vodka slush is perfect for a crowd and is so pretty guests will love the bright summer colors!
Summer is here which means my mind is on frozen cocktails. I love how versatile they can be (and how simple they are to whip up). I recently made these pineapple and peach slushes for a day lounging poolside. When the temps rise your mouth will be watering for one of these tropical drinks, trust me!
The exotic flavors in this drink are so refreshing which makes it great for sipping on a hot day. I topped it off with a big splash of DOLE® Canned 100% Pineapple Juice which was just that perfect added touch. Bring out a couple pitchers or serve individual glasses on a tray. No matter how you bring them out, guests will be very happy. (more…)
Looking for a fresh and unique holiday cocktail? Well, this apple sider based recipe is just your ticket. It’s like a grown up version of apple cider. With a touch of cinnamon and a splash of gin –you’ll love it!
This recipe would be great to serve at a holiday party. I’ve never made a cinnamon cocktail before but this one has just the right amount of spice. I love how it pairs well with the crisp apple sider.
I think “Cinna-Gin” is the perfect name for this drink! (more…)
You know what I love more than a great cocktail? A great cocktail that is SIMPLE to make. No one wants to play bartender and have to craft overly-complicated cocktails. Keeping your recipes simple means you’ll have more time to spend with the friends and family that you’re hosting.
This spicy tomato martini is packed with flavor, interesting to serve to family and friends while entertaining, and honestly … really easy to make. Make it for a special occasion or even just because –it’s a recipe you’ll want to make more than once! With just three ingredients, you’ll be whipping these up in no time. I love how they taste like a dirty martini (my favorite go-to cocktail) but with a twist. (more…)
Two things are true this time of year in my household: we watch a lot of football and we always seem to have a house full of family and friends. I love that entertaining on game day has a much more relaxed vibe which means it’s the perfect opportunity to keep things simple. No need to fuss in the kitchen or plan a ton of appetizers. Simply bake your favorite frozen pizzas and serve up a beer cocktail –you’ll make everyone happy!
Last weekend we had a few friends over to watch the game and I served up this pumpkin shandy beer cocktail (recipe below). It was really delicious and easy enough for guests to whip up themselves. This means more relaxing for the hostess and more time to visit with friends while we watched the game. (more…)
Summer is winding down but it’s still extremely hot here in Southern California (it was 115 yesterday …yeah, it’s H-O-T). Even though the temperature might not reflect it, summer is coming to an end –but I’m not ready to completely let these lazy summer days go. I’m holding on a little bit longer while sipping this Seagram’s Escapes watermelon cocktail!
This is the last weekend before school is in full swing for both of our girls, so we set up for light and refreshing pre-dinner sips & salads this weekend (just for us grown ups). There’s no flavor that screams “summer” more than watermelon (am I right)?! That’s why this cocktail is the perfect one for your summer send off sipping enjoyment (now say that three times fast!).
I’ve been dreaming up my next summer party and of course my mind goes to all the great cocktails I could make. Last week I shared this Pomegranate + Raspberry Champagne Float and my mind keeps going back to frosty cool drinks (it must be the hot weather!).
This new recipe will be perfect for your next patio or pool party because it will keep you icy-cool!
