Ingredients: Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Sheets, Hershey Kisses, melted butter

To make: Using a cookie cutter, cut hearts from the puff pastry (two hearts will make one heart puff). On one heart, unwrap and place a Hershey Kiss. Next, place another heart on top of the kiss and “seal” them together by lightly pressing a fork along the edges. Brush the top of the heart with melted butter. Bake 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until hearts are puffy and golden brown.

Last month’s winning comment was from Sharron who wrote: I’m super in to blue cheese right now so I think I would do a steak and blue cheese twist or pinwheel with the puff pastry.    (Sharon this sounds amazing!)

This puff pastry is magic! I keep it on-hand in our deep freezer. It never fails to make me look like a culinary genius. At Christmas I made individual “Haute” pot pies with it. The kids love making their own “pop tarts” during fruit picking season. The best trick in the book? Cheese Straws!

Lara, those all sound amazing! And my kiddos would go crazy for the pop tarts.
