Real Party| Bridal Shower Red with Romance

When my best friend asked me to help her come up with a theme for a bridal shower she was hosting, I was so exicted! After all, a bridal shower is a big deal… a memorable day for the bride to be and a great excuses to focus on romance. The bride’s wedding color was was red and her flowers of choice, roses.  We had to come up with a plan that did not result in the party space having any hints of Christmas or Valentines Day. I think we pulled it off! Here are some shots from the party itself and wow, did it look romantic!

To set the tone, these red botanical invites were sent out with all the pertinent details. As guests arrived they followed a path lined by white candles and dusted with red rose petals. A handmade wicker and floral wreath greeted guests at the door with the bride’s initial “M” hanging in the center. Vintage chic red table runners topped white linen cloths and each table had simple yet elegant centerpieces. Red roses and floating candles gave off a very romantic feel.

This intimate bridal shower really complimented the bride’s personality; elegant yet easy going. Good food, good drinks, great company- a perfect way to honor a bride and heck, romance itself. Cheers!
