Simple Easter Brunch

If your Easter morning is anything like ours, it’s full of giggles and kiddos running around collecting eggs in their Pajamas and slippers. Some years we have Grandma and Grandpa over in the morning and other years it’s just us. One constant is that we are busy — very early in the morning.

I wanted to share with you some simple ideas for your Easter breakfast or Easter brunch that won’t require you to be stuck in the kitchen (missing all the fun). My advice is to make it easy on yourself. You can create an impressive morning spread without all the hassle, check it out:

Easter Brunch

Gather  items you already have in your home to create a central display. Adding different elements and  displaying your breakfast items in a unique way will give your Easter brunch a more pulled together look. Here, I’ve simply moved this hutch out on our patio and set up all of our breakfast items on it. I grabbed an Easter bunny decoration and chalkboard from inside to give it a more “Easter themed” feel.

Easter Brunch Ideas

Nothing I am showing here is homemade — I’ve simply taken store bought treats and gave them a little makeover. Above we have mini cookies in a strawberry basket and donut holes on lollipop sticks!

Above:

  • Champagne served with frozen blueberries
  • A cake stand displaying store bought donuts
  • More donut holes adorned with festive lollipop sticks
  • A store bought bundt cake on cake stand
  • A chalkboard welcoming hungry guests

There you have it, a simple Easter brunch display featuring all store-bought treats. Simple, right?

Muffins & Mimosas for Mom

I love mimosas, and so does my mom (actually… every mother probably does, right?) … so I wanted to put a simple gift idea together that would appeal to moms of all ages, styles, and with varying interests. Hence, the Muffins & Mimosas gift box was born.

I love that this gift took me just 15 minutes to put together and consists of entirely store bought items yet it really feels thoughtful (and looks amazing too).

The entire tablescape was white –linens, plates, centerpieces, and chairs. For a cheery pop of color, we had custom designed menus, food cards and place cards designed by the very talented Kori Klark of Paper & Pigtails. *Be sure to check out the note at the end of this post!

Menu- Brunch Ideas

The menu consisted of: mini quiches, lemon bars, fresh fruit skewers and orange marmalade muffins.

The beverages? Mimosas (of course)!

Orange marmalade muffins, topped with adorable mini paper pinwheels for a little springtime whimsy! These polka dotted mini pinwheels were designed by Twirlie Whirlies and were the perfect muffin-accessory we’ve ever seen!

See? Cute, right?

Spring Brunch {Part I}

About a week ago, I posted my Spring Brunch inspiration board and a sneak peek a recent shoot I styled. Today, I’d like to share more pictures with you {Part I}! I was honored to be asked by Aleah & Nick Valley of Valley & Co. to style a shoot for the second edition of their fabulous e-zine and share my Spring brunch ideas! With sunny thoughts flooding my brain, I just couldn’t resist. For the full story behind my inspiration, be sure to check out their e-glossy pages here.

{Part 1} The Table

white party ideas

The setting was a bright green field. The perfect backdrop for an all-white, crisp table.

When I think of Spring, images of fresh clean linen hanging from a clothes line in a big green field dance in my mind. That is what the table felt like to me — just perfect.

white wedding flowers

Six white vases of different shapes and sizes were grouped tightly and lined the center of the table. The all white flowers were gathered from the local farmers’ market and included hydrangeas, ranunculus, spray roses and wax flowers. These centerpieces could also be great inspiration for white wedding flowers.

Whether you are looking for your own Spring brunch ideas or just white party ideas in general, I hope you’ll find some inspiration here.

**Check out Part II of this feature! I’ll show you the Spring Brunch menu and great pops of color added by our talented vendors!
