A Lovely Vintage Picnic

Lisa Pearson sent me over a link humbly asking me to check out a recent post from her blog. Curious, I visited the link and immediately thought, WOW what a fabulous post – I MUST share it. Lisa and her daughter enjoyed a wonderful vintage picnic lunch in true vintage style with a perfect combination of both girly touches and sophisticated elements. If you are looking for inspiration for a vintage party theme, be sure to check out Lisa’s photos. She has great ideas (hello $10 dresser find!).

From Lisa’s friend (who highjacked her blog to post this feature in honor of Lisa):

“She hauled her $10 dresser and bags of food and boxes of dishes across a very busy public park to the perfect picnic spot, laughing and joyful the whole way. She went all out with the beautiful vintage details, right down to the paper and string she used to wrap the sandwiches. What can I say??? She just rocks!”

We agree! Just look at these lovely photos:

Simple fixings for a vintage picnic.

Lisa with her college-bound daughter. What beautiful women and such a beautiful way to share a moment with one another before they head out into the world.

What a lovely afternoon!

Thank you Lisa for sharing your wonderful vintage picnic with us. What a well-designed and lovely afternoon to spend with your daughter. The stunning photographs were all take by Lisa’s dear friend Kim (see her work at blubelstudio.com).
