WIN! Southern Living Wedding Planner & Keepsake
Are you planning a wedding? Know someone who is? The new Southern Living Wedding Planner & Keepsake is AMAZING!
I really couldn’t have found this at a better time — I’m currently helping my sister-in-law who is in full wedding planning mode! As her sister-in-law, wedding planner, and hello…. Maid of Honor, I want all the best resources at my fingertips! What I’m loving about this planner:
-It has a great wire spiral binding so I can open it up and it will lay flat. It also has great pockets to put in business cards, notes, and swatches.
-The step-by-step wedding planning timeline and guide feels so different than typical wedding planning books I’ve seen — it’s refreshing!
-The photography is top-notch. I’ve already been inspired by flipping through the gorgeous pages.
Here’s a little peek inside:

I live simple yet rustic weddings.
Low light and an atmosphere full of laughter and romance.
Make that. “Love”….I hate sp check on the iPhones!
This is the best opportunity for a couple to show their combined personality and it is a celebration of themselves but what is also important is how a couple shares memorable moments with your families on their wedding day.
I love seeing how much the couple loves eachother, like when they are dancing together and although they are completely surrounded by guests, you can tell that in that moment they feel like the only other person for miles is their husband/wife.
everything ! the dress, the details, the dancing, the love!
Weddings are magical! Romance, dancing, laughing, crying, children laughing and playing. So much love!
I suppose I should say the “correct” thing and claim what I love most about weddings is the bonding together of two people in love, and having this union witnessed by their loved ones, and yes that is true, but honestly…what I love most about weddings is the ceremony and spectacle of it all. I love the dressing up, the bride looking like a princess, the groom looking like her dapper prince. I love the flower girls, the ring bearers, the bridesmaid and ushers. I love the exchanging of the rings, the first kiss, the first dance, the first bite of wedding cake. I love the throwing of the bouquet, rice, and rose petals. I even love the limosine exit at the end.
So for me, I suppose the better question to ask is…what DON’T I love about weddings? :-)
Wedding is the most special event that could probably happen to a person’s life..It’s nice also if you make your wedding beautiful and Environmentally friendly. Your Eco-friendly wedding begins using the invitation cards. You’ll use recycled paper. To show a larger resolve for a eco-friendly wedding, you could have the ceremony and also the reception at the orchard. Thanks for sharing blog anyway.
What I love most about weddings is the happiness of everyone. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love the decorations, the flowers, the cake and every detail that goes into a wedding. But when you see how happy the couple are to be man and wife that is absolutely amazing!
I agree, Samantha……weddings bring joy and most importantly…they bring people together! :)
What I love about weddings is that although it takes time and effort its all to celebrate the love of one another. I am getting married October 2013 and I am trying for a vintage but modern wedding. This would be a perfect help!
