The truth is that often money and gift cards make the best gift choice. Especially for those really hard to buy for people you know, or uh hum, teenagers (I know this all too well!). But just because you are giving a gift that appears to be pretty generic, doesn’t mean you can do it in a thoughtful way. In my opinion, a well wrapped gift can speak volumes! But how to wrap gift cards? Here’s an idea.
The next time you are giving a gift card or some cash, take a few extra minutes to wrap it up nicely. This idea is super simple and I bet you have everything you need already!
Toilet paper roll (or paper towel roll cut in half)
String or ribbon
Piece of paper for a name tag with a hole punched through it so you can tie it to the gift
Place your money or gift card inside the tube, wrap with tissue, tie ends with string or ribbon and attach name tag. Done!
