Spring Place Setting Ideas: DIY Paper Placemats
Here we plan on sharing simple ways that you can make your party, event, or wedding fabulous– but in a do-it-yourself – DIY fashion. Let’s kick it off with these DIY paper placemats!
We started with 6 different Spring patterned sheets of scrapbook paper. They were 12×12 in size and cost between $0.59-$1.59 each.
And using clear plates dinner plates, we created 6 different spring place setting ideas.
For the napkin rings, simply cut a 1-2″ strip of coordinating paper…secure with tape or glue and that’s it! Simple DIY paper placemats. Here are a few more images:

The sticker says they are from Ikea– but mine are from a great garage sale find!
I love using scrapbook paper on the tables. I love to take this andplace a piece of vellum with scalloped edges on top, add a flower to each corner with a big brad & you have ultra cute placemat.
I like this idea, but would even suggest laminating the scrapbook paper. That way they can be washed and used again, plus they will be a bit sturdier. I’m sure it doesn’t cost too much to stop by Kinkos and get a few sheets laminated!
